National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand for 2023 - 2026
Vision:
The leading non-profit organization of Thailand which implements social welfare services to sustainably enhance the quality of people’s life.
Mission:
1. Provide relief and assistance to people in distress, the poor, and people with disabilities.
2. Continuously promote, support, prevent, solve problems and develop social welfare for children, youth, women, the distressed, elderly, and people with disabilities
3. Coordinate cooperation on social work and promote social welfare services with member organizations, government agencies, non-government organizations and civil society network through integrating collaboration both locally and internationally
Value:
Provide relief, create happiness, promote networks, always up to the event
Policy:
1. Upholding institution of the Nation, Religious, and the Monarchy, and supporting the democratic governance with the King as Head of State.
2. Campaign and disseminate knowledge and experiences including provision of resources from the public and private sectors in order to support the NCSWT operations and its member organizations in achieving organization’s objectives.
3. Develop a system for providing social work services to help people in distress and people with disabilities.
4. Support and develop volunteer work of NCSWT and member organizations in order to promote systematic operation and the volunteering spirit in helping society in all occasions.
5. Promote and develop NCSWT staff and member organization personnel to enhance management and operational capacities.
6. Provide recommendations, measures, working plans and projects related to the development of social work and social welfare to the public sector, and coordinate with relevant member organization networks locally and internationally.
